Job Title: General Manager, Retail Transformation
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (The requirement is to come to the Buckhead office at least 2-3 days a week)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager within the Retail Transformation field. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and execution of retail business consulting and transformation initiatives. Your primary focus will be on e-commerce, business process improvement, customer promise, and post-purchase management.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise in e-commerce, retail business consulting, and transformation. Provide strategic guidance and solutions to optimize business processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Possess expert knowledge of customer promise management, order lifecycle management, fulfillment, tracking, and analytics. Drive improvements in these areas to enhance the customer experience and increase operational efficiency.
- Possess a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, store operations, and inventory management. Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, streamline supply chain operations, and improve overall efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and possess knowledge of production processes and pricing strategies. Contribute to the development of pricing models and strategies to maximize profitability while meeting customer demands.
- Possess a high degree of knowledge in retail enterprise architecture and the data sets produced. Utilize this knowledge to design and implement effective data management solutions and drive informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the design and development of innovative solutions in areas such as inventory management, supply chain optimization, and order lifecycle management. Maintain product knowledge in relevant areas to provide effective guidance and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and their applications in retail transformation. Leverage technologies such as microservices architecture, cloud computing, serverless architecture, and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and enhance operational capabilities.
- Manage and expand an existing team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Develop the team's capabilities to deliver high-quality results and achieve organizational goals.
- Present ideas, strategies, and recommendations in a cohesive and innovative manner to stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 -14 years of experience in e-commerce, retail business consulting, and transformation.
- Proven track record of driving successful retail transformation initiatives and delivering measurable results.
- Strong knowledge and experience in customer promise management, order lifecycle management, fulfillment, and analytics.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain dynamics, store operations, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with production processes and pricing strategies.
- Extensive knowledge of retail enterprise architecture and data management.
- Demonstrated experience in solution design and product knowledge.
- Proficiency in the latest technology trends, including microservices architecture, cloud computing, serverless architecture, and AI.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to manage and mentor a team.
- Willingness to work from the Buckhead office in Atlanta, Georgia, at least 2-3 days per week.
