About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with expertise in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector. You will be responsible for managing and growing existing client accounts within the domain, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your role will involve understanding client needs, providing strategic IT consulting solutions, and identifying opportunities for account expansion. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in account management, a deep understanding of the BFSI sector, and a proven track record of driving client success.

Location - NY-NJ-CT-GA (North East or South East US)

Position - Sr. Account Manager/Client Partner – BFSI

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing client accounts within the BFSI domain, serving as the primary point of contact and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver value-added solutions to support new business development efforts.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and propose appropriate enhancements to meet client needs.
  • Expand and grow client accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on a deep understanding of client business objectives.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies, including account penetration plans, to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Proactively create opportunities to support our COEs and alliance partners to maximize business and deliver incremental value to customers.
  • Promote Client development and build relationships with prospective Clients through office visits, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Proactively identify client risks or opportunities and help manage the project team to effectively respond.
  • Utilize strategic client hunting practices, industry/market analysis, internal communication, external promotions, and constant in-depth client analysis to uncover revenue opportunities.
  • Track vendor agreements and complete accurate invoicing information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the BFSI sector to proactively offer innovative solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations, proposals, and reports that effectively communicate value propositions and showcase the benefits of our IT consulting services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and account status in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 8 years of account management experience within the BFSI sector in an IT consulting or technology solutions company.
  • In-depth understanding of the BFSI industry, including knowledge of banking processes, financial systems, insurance practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Have exhibited thought leadership in BFSI industry
  • Deeply skilled in stakeholder management, with a high focus on decision makers / LoB and are comfortable operating at CxO level
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts, meeting revenue targets, and driving client satisfaction.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex IT concepts and solutions to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as required.
